Insurance and Medicare
DiLauri Physical Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill or participate with commercial insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service.
Physical therapy services are not available to Medicare beneficiaries through this practice however Wellness services may be available. Wellness services are separate, non-medical services and do not include physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis or treatment. Wellness services are not eligible for submission for insurance reimbursement.
Frequently Asked Questions
I’m out-of-network and offer private-pay care so I can work relationally, not procedurally. Care is always recommended, never pushed, and adjusts as your body changes over time.
Services are paid at the time of care. I don’t bill insurance, but a receipt or superbill can be provided upon request for out-of-network reimbursement for non-Medicare and non-Wellness services.

Wellness Services are non-diagnostic and restorative in nature. They focus on supporting movement, relaxation, and nervous system regulation, lifestyle guidance and are not billed or provided as physical therapy.

Under New Jersey’s direct access law, patients may receive evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions from a licensed physical therapist without a physician’s referral. This allows you to begin care promptly, while your therapist thoroughly assesses your needs and determines whether medical referral or additional clearance is appropriate.
All physical therapy services are provided in accordance with the New Jersey State Physical Therapy Practice Act (P.L. 1983, c.296) and the regulations of the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Services are delivered under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as defined by N.J.S.A. 45:9-37.13.
Wellness Sessions are wellness-based, non-medical services and do not include physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.
